The chair separates, the bench unites. Duode offers, in its simplest form, a way to bring two individuals together face to face. Half bench, half chairs linked by a single plank of 150-year-old oak, it hides behind its apparent simplicity a multitude of seating options for being with another. To each their own duo.
The bench was designed with Camillo Bernal and manufactured by Valentin Besacier, Nicolas Topaloff, and Henri Darbonne using wood from the Scierie Navet sawmill. Photographed by Luc Bertrand in the Salle Cortot.
